Almond Roca
Ingredients
- 1 lb melted butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 5 tbsp water
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 4 tbsp light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 5-8 oz slivered almonds
- 6 hershey bars
- 5 oz chopped pecans
Directions
Stir all ingredients but chocolate bars together on high. Stir constantly until thick & golden brown. This should be hard crack stage using a candy thermometer. Pour on buttered cookie sheet. Cool 5-10 minutes. Lay hershey bars on top to melt. Sprinkle on chopped pecans.
